Joseph E. Zaffarese, Esquire

Managing Member

Joseph is Vice President of Ahmad Zaffarese LLC and manages operations at Ahmad Zaffarese LLC. Joseph is a distinguished trial attorney and appellate advocate. Joseph’s passion for his work is evident in the individualized attention he gives to all of his clients.

Prior to forming Ahmad Zaffarese LLC in 2006, Joseph served as a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney Office where he earned a reputation for achieving exceptional results. He completed his prosecutorial service as a member of the elite Special Investigations Unit, where he successfully prosecuted government corruption and other sensitive high-profile cases. Joseph has also had the privilege of clerking for both the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and Superior Court and has served as an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the Better Business Bureau.

For the last decade, Joseph’s practice has focused exclusively on representing governmental entities and corporate entities in civil litigation. Joseph has secured numerous defense victories in high profile tort and civil rights litigation on behalf of a variety of federal, state, and local agencies and their employees.

Most recently, Joseph successfully represented eight separate district attorney offices in national litigation brought against Opioid Manufacturers and Distributers.
