Martinis Jackson, Esquire
Attorney at Law
Martinis M. Jackson is an associate attorney in the Public Finance & Special Services Practice group of Ahmad Zaffarese LLC. Prior to joining the firm, Martinis gained extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, having served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., where he prosecuted criminal cases and served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials. Martinis also worked as a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and Milbank LLP, working on highly complex civil matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Before joining Ahmad Zaffarese LLC, Martinis founded and managed his own litigation firm, where he obtained significant recoveries on behalf of his clients. He has also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Francis King Cary School of Law and Howard University School of Law, teaching courses in legal writing and advocacy.
Martinis earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, where he graduated first in his class and served as an editor for the law journal. He also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in English for Corporate Communications from Christian Brothers University.
Martinis is admitted to practice in New York, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Tennessee.
